Job Summary:

  • SAP solutions architects serve as the conduits between businesses and technology. In general, they oversee all aspects of a systems solution, including those that are targeted towards customer relations, human resources, product life cycles and supply chains

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • 1) Developing and implementing IT strategies to meet the business needs of a company.
  • 2) Establish and execute plans for improved business functions through technologies advances.
  • 3) Establish and document IT Architecture framework and practice.
  • 4) Manage in the development of a solution architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
  • 5) Communicate and document the IT architecture to the stakeholders.
  • 6) Collaborates and coordinates to formalize and adopt IT standards and procedures.
  • 7) Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
  • 8) Conduct structured knowledge transfer activities for the identified company’s personnel and monthly report on the progress of these activities.
  • 9) To perform any other duties required by company and Chief Digital and Information Officer.

Experience & Knowledge :

  • - The candidate must be a Malaysian Citizen.
  • 1) Certified Azure Fundamental/AWS fundamental or related certification in IT architecture (TOGAF, ITIL, etc)
  • 2) Strong understanding of IT solutions architecture
  • 3) Skilled in preparing required documentation and presentation materials to stakeholders
  • 4) Certification in two or more certification mention above
  • 5) At least 3 years of professional experience in IT application environment (Enterprise solutions such as Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Mobility, Analytics, Integration, and API)
  • 6) Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (for Malaysian candidates)
  • 7) An aptitude for IT architectures and frameworks.
  • 8) Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interview colleagues, gather business process details, and identify solution requirements.
  • 9) Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • 10) An ability to envisage how an automated solution will work in the wider business environment, to understand its advantages and what its effect will be
  • 11) The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind
  • 12) An aptitude for problem-solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
  • 13) A basic understanding of business processes. Capable of analyzing a process
  • 14) An enquiring mind, good at problem-solving
  • 15) XML, and experience with .NET, PHP, Python, Java, SOA or Open API platform, SDLC & design techniques
