Job Summary:

  • To provide technical expertise for the operation of the SAP BW platform, and to support the day-to-day BAU supports and incidents

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • 1) Act as SME and operational support team
  • 2) To involve in BW's performance tuning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • 3) Monitor and handle daily weekly and monthly batch jobs
  • 4) User management using user access and right permissions
  • 5) Managing user/group access from different applications
  • 6) System health monitoring
  • 7) Incident management
  • 8) Functional support
  • 9) Identifying the causes of any issues and providing a preventive action
  • 10) Provides training appropriate to expertise level to other personnel and customers as required
  • 11) Data validation against system source systems
  • 12) Acts as a support resource for the technical support staff to ensure that customer-reported issues are being addressed efficiently and accurately. Serves as liaison with database and Basis administrators, developers, and vendors (if needed) to assist in resolving problems with systems
  • 13) Maintains and tests the data warehouse in compliance with the company's disaster recovery plan

Experience & Knowledge :

  • 1) Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields
  • 2) Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in SAP Business Warehouse
  • 3) Minimum of 2 to 3 relevant project experience, full implementation cycle, support
  • 4) Extensive experience in SAP BW/HANA version 2.0 or earlier
  • 5) Well versed in the usage of ABAP and AMDP for transformation routine
  • 6) Extensive knowledge in data modeling, particularly based on the BW/4HANA concept
  • 7) Familiarity with BI tools such as SAP BOBJ / Lumira is highly desired
  • 8) Experience in SAP S4HANA or ECC finance-related modules is a plus
  • 9) Relevant SAP certifications are a plus
